Description
The HEIDENHAIN LC 495S linear encoder provides the absolute position value immediately upon switch-on—without previous movement of the machine axes. The absolute value is transmitted serially to the subsequent electronics over the SIEMENS DQ01 interface. The slimline housing profile makes the LC 495S particularly suited to applications with restricted mounting space.
