The HEIDENHAIN LC 281 absolute interface linear scale features:

- Single section scale measuring lengths from 440mm to 4240mm
- Multi- section scale measuring lengths from 3240mm to 28040mm
- Absolute EnDat02 interface with incremental 1Vpp signal
- 5µm accuracy grade
- 40µm grating period
- Two measuring steps: 12.5000nm and 50.0000nm
- Power supply: 3.6 V ... 14 V
- Operating temperature from 0°C to 50°C
- IP64 protection with sealing air from a HEIDENHAIN DA 400 air purge kit
