The Magnescale SL 220 tape series scale is a non-contact linear feedback system with long range travels up to 30 meters, often used on manual machine applications.  The PL20c scanning unit reads the SL220 magnetic tape scale to provide reliable linear feedback typically to a readout.  This scale is comprised of SL 130 tape and a backerbar.

The Magnescale SL 220 is a cannel tape scale with SL 130tape, which features Magnescale® technology, which is reliable in metal cutting environment, offering excellent resistance to oil, dirt, vibration and shock.  The SJ 220 is often used with the LH70 and LH71 readouts on manual machines, offer the following features...
