The HEIDENHAIN LC 495F absolute linear encoders offer measuring steps to 0.1µm resolution to 0.005µm for limited installation space. High positioning accuracy and traversing speed through four-field scanning.

The HEIDENHAIN LC 495F linear encoder provides the absolute position value immediately upon switch-on—without previous movement of the machine axes. The absolute value is transmitted serially to the subsequent electronics over the FANUC05 interface. The slimline housing profile makes the LC 495F particularly suited to applications with restricted mounting space.
