The HEIDENHAIN LC 183 absolute linear scale for CNC machine tools using EnDat interface for travels up to 3040mm with single-field scanning.

The HEIDENHAIN LC 183 series absolute linear encoders provide the absolute position value immediately upon switch on, without previous movement of the machine axes. The absolute value is transmitted serially to the subsequent electronics over the EnDat interface.
