The HEIDENHAIN LC 182 early generation absolute linear scale for CNC machine tools using EnDat interface for travels up to 3040mm.

The HEIDENHAIN LC 182 series absolute linear encoders provide the absolute position value immediately upon switch on, without previous movement of the machine axes. The absolute value is transmitted serially to the subsequent electronics over the EnDat interface.
